Baby Jadon is still being a fighter, praise God. Please continue to pray. Today my youngest child is three I no longer have any babies. This is bittersweet for me. Now new things will be available for adventures, but I have to let go at the same time. I know that through life we always have to let go as we move on, but this feels a bit sharper than other things. Like I said I now have a three year old, so I have a helper, a comedian, an artist, an athlete, you name it he thinks he can do it.....except when he doesn't want to!! Then hold on to your hat. We had a great party with friends and family alike. I will up load photos soon. Goodnight, God bless.

Please Pray

Please pray for our cousins Joey and Pam. They are the parents of Baby Jadon who was one of the three babies in our family born on the 8th of January. On the 12th, at just 5 days old, he had two surgeries on his heart. The last week and a half were looking good...But today we got a call saying it wasn't looking good. My heart aches for them. They have two girls who are at home with their grandparents. This is a difficult time for this part of the family and we all ache for them. I was told that with this surgery, he was given something to paralyze him throughout the procedure, his vocal cords are swollen so he can't even cry. I tell you this because I know God is in control and he promises to be faithful and to care for us. But I also know that his will is not always our own. My prayer for baby Jadon is that God will guide the hand of the doctors who are taking care of this precious child, that God will give the family and friends a comfort that only he can, but mostly that the Lord's will be done and that we would not question it but grow through it.

I have lots of fun pics and a fun video but no time to upload it now. Poor Daddy has not felt well this week and the boys have had their share of whatever bug is going around. I have stayed well (knock on wood) so far but the day is not over and I MUST go to the grocery store. So off I go, so long for now. Sweet faces soon, I promise.

What Memories Are Made Of

Wow, the weekend is almost over. It's hard to believe that in less than a week my baby will really be a big boy. Well, three years old anyway! I'm not sure why last week felt so long for all of us but we really needed some R&R. We also needed to get things done around the house. So after our fun night relaxing with the Robbins family, and late night work out, we all sleep in. Thank goodness the boys slept late too. Of course they did get up before we were ready to but I fixed them breakfast, turned on the movie they had been begging for, and cozied up for a few more minutes. I'm not sure why when I'm sick I want to be any where but bed and when I have no good excuse I don't want to leave it. Any way I got up and fixed Daddy some breakfast after letting him continue to sleep, the man really needed sleep. Then we sat around the table. Parker wrote his spelling list, Marshall wrote the number T-W-O and the practiced drawing 2, Carson colored, and we just all enjoyed being together. Then it was somehow lunch time so I fixed that, we played a bit, and put the boys down for a nap. We (I mean he, even though I did help kind-of) got the tile down in our bathroom and I cleaned up all the dishes, put away laundry, and then ate a snack and fell asleep after getting to catch up on a few shows. I love ABC. I can't believe I got a nap while Daddy and the boys played outside. I woke up to the sound of a happy family and the smell of smoke. Yet I wasn't panicked. What can I say, I really do trust the man I love. I find that they have a fire in the pit and are enjoying Daddy to the fullest. Not wanting to miss out on the fun I suggest cooking like we're camping. Yep, we roasted hot-dogs then marshmallows! It was a great night. I told the boys we need Nanno and Hot Chocolate, and Boppie and Granddad with the rest of the items to make S'mores. These are the things they have done with the boys before and Marshall said yeah and Pa-pa with cookies!! We laughed, I mean how can you be with Pa-pa and not have cookies. Any-who we enjoyed each other, but missed the "Grands". And now the reason you come.... our beautiful faces.

My love said he was taking this so my face would be on my blog, so here I am. woo-hoo

It was windy and the flames kept moving so it was hard to get a good focus. Low batteries don't help either but you get the idea.
