Who Says Birthdays Are Just One Day

Today we had a wonderful treat. We got to spend the day at Chuck-E-Cheese with Grandma Judy. They were unable to come to Carson's party so we partied today! As you can see we all had fun and the boys really liked having more cake!

This was Carson before he was supposed to be eating cake but he didn't know I was watching!!

I did get some good pics and for that I am glad. As I said after Carson's party, my camera is acting up so it's hit or miss whether or not I will get a good shot. But like I said it did give me a few decent pics. But hey, I do have things to be happy about. We had a great day and it got us out of the house when it was too cold to be outside. And I think I might have saved some of my cups. I have them soaking in a mix of Oxyclean and vinegar. Seems to be working. Yeah for me!!
Can I just take one more moment of your time to tell you just how blessed we are. As the boys were saying prayers tonight Parker asked god to help him grow up faster so he could know what job he would have. Carson said thank you for the fun day he had, then he prayed that his mousie (just imaginary, mind you) would feel better soon. And Marshall is thankful for our warm house and always prays for friends and family who are sick. It's so neat to hear him remember and lift them up to our heavenly father. These are the moments I want to hold on to.

What Have I Done?

OK first let me give you and update on little Jadon Davis. He has had a few good days and they hope to take his breathing tube out tomorrow. Praise be to God for the strength that little Mr. Jadon has. I finally got a link to his web page, if you want to read full updates on him here is the link, http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jadondavis. You will have to put in a little info to read the whole thing but it is amazing to see the strength that the whole family has. I thank you for your prayers on the behave of the Davis family. Please continue to pray for all of them.

Now, I'm sure you are wondering what I meant by this title. Well I messed up big time. I let my little ones help me in loading the dishwasher, and this time I shouldn't have. Really it's my fault for not moving the stupid thing to the top. I left my scrubbing brush on the bottom rack, I thought I checked to see if it would move around during the wash. It felt secure enough, but now I know it was not. Around 11:30 last night my dear protector of a husband jumped out of bed and said "Do you smell smoke?" I jumped up and we run to find our dishwasher finishing up and a smell coming from it. I pull open the door and smoke filled the air. My knight in shining armour pulled out what used to me my scrub brush. At this point it was still smoking. Thank goodness everything was wet when the process started or it might have been a lot worse. I have tried several different settings, and run vinegar through it to try to eliminate the smells, but there is still just enough plastic somewhere to make it smell really bad to the point I have a headache now.

Trying to be helpful my sweet husband said "Well do you want a new dish washer for your birthday?" To which I replied "No I don't want to spend that kind of money." The dishes I can do by hand, but it ruined all the cups that were in there, and maybe some of the dishes. Talk about an expensive dumb mistake. Here is a picture of the culprit, go ahead and laugh. I did last night but now I'm just seeing dollar signs everywhere.

The Days Of Our Lives

This is us three long...no short. No long...short. Any way this is us three years ago. I put a few pictures of all of us first. Marshall...At 19 months old he was trying to grow up as fast as he could. He still thinks he can do anything, and wants to try almost everything.

Then Parker, at this point in his life he was just over 3. He was an entertainer then and still is. His imagination has no limits. He has always been such a good big brother, Carson this summer started telling Parker, "You're my best buddy".

Then there was me and my love. The day before our youngest son came into this world I covered up his body with my belly. You might think this bothered me but no. Most of you know just how grueling my pregnancies were. I would throw up 20-30 times a day. They call this "HG", basically excessive vomiting. This would go on for 8 1/2 months, with every one of my pregnancies. It was excruciating for the whole family, but the minute I had a baby in my arms no more throwing up until a new one came along, Ha! You might think that this would make me loath being pregnant but no, I miss it. Not the being sick part but, I really liked my body, I loved feeling the precious masterpiece that God was creating in me. And of course the final gift is worth it's weight in gold. The sound of a newborns cry in unlike anything else, and then the soft sound of your baby breathing after they have fallen asleep in your arms...those are moments you only get for a short time in life. That being said I love to hear my children share what's on their mind and that can only happen as they grow. So while it is bitter-sweet for me to keep moving, I thank God daily for the gifts he has given us.

This is my first kiss from Carson Glenn Wise.

This photo was taken no more than a week or so after he was born. It cracks me up to see my blond child with a head full of dark curly brown hair.

This was on Jan. 24 2006. The brothers became a trio, and we are officially out numbered, Yikes.

Carson Wanted a TMNT party so we set up our version of a sewer and had some turtle fun. We had so much fun with friends and family alike. I know some of you wanted to be here but couldn't. But you were with us in spirit and for those of you who were here, thank you for everything.

This is the kids having a blast with Andre who keeps everyone laughing. I'd like to take a second and tell Lisa thank you for taking on the mind-numbing task of opening all the toys and getting them to work. It's because you jumped in for that job I got a chance to just enjoy the laughter. Thank you so very much.

The boys will smile for a picture but Reegan knows how to strike a pose. You go girl!

My Camera started acting funny, so the colors aren't what they should be but all the boys chose to be the blue turtle and Reegan and Nanno chose purple.

The kids were all so good and so much fun to watch .

They all have great ninja skills. We are so glad that Aunt Melissa and Reegan came to play. And I want to give a shout out to Melissa for cutting head bands . You too took a great load off for me, we are so glad you all are closer now.

I have more pics but I will probably just send them through Kodak, this has given me fits tonight and I can't stay up to fight it any more.
