Where Have I been? Outside no electronics!

It's hard to believe that the month of March is already here. Last week I removed our down comforter from our bed. Today my love asked me to take the flannel sheets off as well! This is crazy, its still winter and we have had many days in the 80's and most nights only get down into the mid 60's. I like winter. I like my comfy covers. On the other hand I like how beautiful the days are. I can send the kids outside and not worry about how cold they are or if they are getting dehydrated. I just say stay outside!! Here are a few of this weeks fun.

Parker is now a "BOY". Every time I say let me take your picture he makes this face, or something equally goofy. He's not yet worried that he will look dumb and no longer has the sweet, little boy, I want to make mommy smile, "cheese".

They like to climb this tree. It just doesn't like them.

Carson tells me to get away from his deer stand so I don't scare anything away!

Marshall really likes to hang upside down but he hasn't been able to get himself up. This kid has determination, he keeps trying and trying.

Back around my birthday I told you I had funny stories, well it's time I share. While my guys were out shopping for my presents, every one but Marshall had chosen a gift. Marshall was a little distracted by the toy aisle and my dear sweet husband explained to him that they were shopping for something that I would like and a toy probably wasn't the best choice. He suggested that Marshall choose something that smelled pretty like a candle or lotion. Marshall agreed that was a good way to choose something I would like and said, "OK I'm just gonna smell this first." As he reached to pick up a plastic samurai sword! My dear husband almost busted a gut with laughter and had made up his mind that if Marshall said it smelled good that is what they were coming home with! After a long deep sniff... "Well Marshall how does it smell" asked Daddy. "Not very good" said a very disappointed little Marshall, who ended up choosing a candle instead!

When the boys came home they had been instructed to tell me they got me a puppy if I asked what my gifts were, as to keep my real presents a secret. Well they did just that. Came in and said, "Mommy do you know what we got you?" When I said no they yelled out "A PUPPY". Carson who had stayed home to take a nap jumped up put, his shoes on and ran to the garage saying "Come on, lets go see!!!" When Daddy told him there wasn't a puppy out there he insisted that there was because Parker and Marshall got one for mommy! Poor thing was so sad, he does not think this was a good way to trick me!

So, that's all for now. I'm off to bed after a long day.
